AZ Legislative Alert: Maria Ailor Named Interim DIFI Director

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has appointed Maria Ailor Interim Director of the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions, effective May 30, 2025.
Interim Director Ailor replaces Barbara Richardson whose confirmation was rejected by the Arizona Senate back in early May.
Ailor was formerly the Assistant Director of DIFI's Market Regulation and Consumer Services Division since 2018.
