Presented By: Rusty Rice

Rusty began his insurance career in 1993 and has been a dedicated member of NAHU (now NABIP) since 1998, serving in numerous leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels—including President of NAHU (now NABIP) in 2018–2019. He has received multiple prestigious awards, including the Hollis Roberson Award, NAHU Distinguished Service Award, and the Ken Martin Excellence in Communication Award, recognizing his advocacy and contributions to the industry. Rusty has been a passionate legislative advocate, speaking at state hearings, participating in think tanks, and teaching over 450 hours of CE courses nationwide. Since 2003, he has been with Avesis LLC, currently serving as Director of Commercial Sales, leading a national team, and overseeing key markets. Rusty lives in Boerne, Texas, with his wife Lori and their family, continuing to mentor future leaders and support strategic growth across NABIP chapters.
