Speaker: Derek Galloway

Derek Galloway is an assistant vice president/sales executive with account management duties specializing in the employee benefits practice at HUB International’s Columbus, Ohio office.
In his role, Derek's focus will be on educating our partners primarily on the correlation between employee engagement and an employer's empathy. Advocating for increasing access to care and creating customized solutions that support attracting, engaging, and retaining talent within the middle market.
Derek joined the HUB team in March 23. Prior to joining HUB, he worked at Beam Benefits as a Market Development Executive and prior to that he started his career at Dow Chemical in Cost Accounting working for Tata Consulting Services.
Derek earned a BA degree in Finance from Western Michigan University as well as an MBA in Executive Management from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
He is licensed for Life, Accident and Health in 28 states.
In his free time, Derek enjoys spending time with his wife and two children as well as playing golf and rugby and participating in triathlons. Derek also volunteers mentoring start-up companies through programs like SEA Change and serves on the NABIP New Mexico state board.
